Indonesia Anti Counterfeiting Society (MIAP) is a membership driven by industry. Membership opens the doors to programs, services, possibilities and advantages to synergistically yield benefits far greater than the individual contributions in combating counterfeiting.

MIAP Member linked together with organizations of similar interest, concerns and needs that share goal to diminish the negative impact of counterfeiting by working together with relevant authorities of enhancing public awareness, consumer protection and law enforcement.

Membership

The guidelines to become a member of MIAP should follows this following criteria:

• Membership is open to any business operating in Indonesia.
• Members must be committed to the group’s mission and therefore not engage in any form of producing, purchasing or using counterfeit products.
• Companies must agree to pay a membership annual fee.

The benefits of membership are:

• MIAP members could initiate a group program or activity to accelerate any message which brought by each member through related channel which has been develop by MIAP along the year.
• MIAP provides updated data in relation to the impact of counterfeiting activity in Indonesia through regular study.
• MIAP become a regular spoke person/source person to deliver a message (policy submission) to government in relation to related Intellectual Property Law/Regulation.
• MIAP could become a motor to each member to share a better knowledge and understanding regarding Intellectual Property and raise public awareness.
